The scary part isn't the animals. It's everything around them nobody warned you about — the grass that needs a rest, the weed that's poisonous, the fence that fails quietly, the fire day. One place for the animals and the place they live, so it isn't all in your head.
Animals
Check every trough after a windy day
Debris and algae turn up when you least expect them, and an animal won't tell you it hasn't drunk.
Animals
Walk the fence on the paddock they're in
Wire and gates fail quietly. You find out when the neighbour rings. Ten minutes a week is cheaper.
Animals
Move them to the rested paddock
Grass needs time to come back, and nobody mentions that when you buy the place. You'll be told when.
Your place gets the tools that fit it. Here’s exactly what’s switched on.
